Cabot Nelson
From Sugar House
A resident of Sugar House since 1999, Cabot Nelson has been a member of the SHCC's Board of Trustees since 2003 and has served as its secretary since 2004. Living next to Fairmont Park, he represents the Fairmont neighborhood and a major portion of the Sugar House Business District.
His family roots are in Sugar House, where his maternal great-grandfather built a house in 1914, which was the house where Cabot's grandmother, mother, and other family members were raised.
Cabot grew up in West Valley City. He attended Skyline High School and received a degree in urban planning from the University of Utah. He currently works at a direct marketing firm in West Valley City.
