Via email from October 30 to November 2, 2009, Lindsey Oswald, Cabot Nelson, Scott Kisling, and Amy Barry of the SHCC Website/Internet Committee discussed the following:
Cabot Nelson will continue to serve as committee chair. Brief website statistics:

Website updates: Amy has continued to provide the content for the website. Cabot will continue to research user rights access, submitting content through the website front (public) interface, and changing the template. The Yahoo! Group continues its activity (as shown below under "Fun Facts") Note a feature that Yahoo! Groups now offers for storing email attachments. Users can now have access to these attachments anytime they use the web. New users can see attachments for past email messages. Scott Kisling suggested creating accounts on Twitter and Facebook for the Sugar House Community Council. The committee will take that under advisement in our next meeting. For the November 4th, 2009, regular meeting of the SHCC, the committee moves to: Adopt the commission of the committee

Commission of the Sugar House Community Council Website/Internet Committee Purpose or Mission Statement The purpose of the committee is to: maintain a web site of the Sugar House Community Council (SHCC), facilitate communication among the trustees using the internet, enable the SHCC's documents to be accessible via the internet, establish a means of disseminating the SHCC agenda and minutes via email, and fulfill any other duties as directed by the SHCC board of trustees that involve the internet to "disseminate information to the Sugar House residents about events and issues that directly affect the life of the Sugar House area and its individual residents." (SHCC bylaws, page 1) Members Membership is open to any member of the SHCC and not limited to trustees, with no more than 5 members. The current members are Lindsey Oswald, Amy Barry, Scott Kisling, and Cabot Nelson.
Meetings and Reports The meetings are open to any member of the SHCC board of trustees. The committee members shall meet bimonthly, or more frequently as needed. If there are current topics to be discussed, the committee chair shall report to the SHCC board of trustees at the board's regular monthly meeting.
Date of commission This commission starts when the SHCC trustees adopt this commission.
Expiration This commission expires on November 3, 2010, which is a month after the date of the election for the new SHCC officers. |
