Sustainability Committee Report November 2009Due to the Thanksgiving holiday there was no physical meeting. A discussion about current and future projects was discussed via email. Buy Local for the Holidays Update - Work has been done to assist in the Sugar House Summit's December 5th upcoming buy local for the holidays event. Future projects - The sustainability committee voted to assist with the Sugar House Summit March event that will deal with Natural Resources. The business spotlight has been put on hold until we receive clarification about the committee reporting/approval process. We continue to reach out to other committee's by establishing liaison's.
Next meeting will be in February as half of the sustainability committee will be out of the country for January. |
