2010 is the first Sugar House Farmers Market and we hope you come out and help make it a great success. There will be a great variety of fresh produce, prepackaged foods, prepared foods, local crafts and a local area nonprofit. The goal of the Sugar House Farmers market is to create a great neighborhood farmers market. We aim to provide a variety of fresh, locally grown, delicious produce and food while representing the local Sugar House community. We take the word "local" seriously and strive to promote local vendors as much as possible. In addition to food and crafts we also are providing a Sugar House area nonprofit with a booth for outreach. Sugar House has so many wonderful nonprofit organizations doing tremendous work to help our community, people, and our quality of lives. We want residents to have the opportunity to learn more about the great work that goes on in our community and become a part of that. While this first year will be a small farmers market (25 - 30 booths) we have a strong variety of produce, meats, cheese, bread, prepared foods, and local artisan crafts with unique products represented at the market.
