Hello, friends, neighbors, and families of Sugar House,

With our young neighbors preparing to head back to school, I know that this great summer is winding down. I hope it has been an enjoyable season for you.

The end of summer means the start of school and a "back to work" mode for a lot of other civic institutions, including the Sugar House Community Council. The people planning the Sugar House street car are having another open house. Come share the ideas on our neighborhood will look like once the project is up and running. It's on August 25th at 5pm at Highland High School.

The Sugar House Community Council's board of trustees has a few vacancies. Would you like to participate? Just reply to this email, give us your address, and if we have a spot, we'll send you our petition form for your neighbors to sign. It's a great opportunity to engage your neighbors and make a meaningful difference.

Best regards!

Cabot Nelson
Chair, Sugar House Community Council
